6. Clean Wooden Cutting Board with Lemon
Precisely because wooden cutting boards tend to absorb odors, they must be appropriately sanitized to remove any residues from previous preparations. To thoroughly clean the chopping board, sprinkle it with salt and rub it vigorously with half a lemon. With a bit of elbow grease, you will have a better result than with detergent (and without chemicals!)
